surtex ready . . .
I've been busy preparing for Surtex. Going through recent work and reworking a few things here and there. Some patterns got a little colour face lift!
If you are attending the Surtex show in May, come and say hello!
I'll be in booth 309.

strong florals . . .

Bright colours on dark backgrounds - that's what I've been crazy about lately. The strong contrast and the gentle object... an unlikely couple that is so good together. Florals - two before bed, and one in the morning - for the happy eyes and healthy spirit:).* A little note to the Pinners: please pin responsibly (as funny as it sounds). Credit. One word is better than nothing at all. It makes me sad when things are taken for granted.

my PANTONE COLORS children's book . . .

How happy was I when they asked me to illustrate this book? VERY! I've been a big fan of PANTONE® colour system ever since 1998 when I have purchased my first colour book for a design course in college.

Nice, Round 35 . . .
Today is my birthday. I don't understand what happens to time when you get older. It just evaporates. Didn't I just have a birthday? When do I start feeling older and acting it? Never... I hope:)The illustration is inspired by the chalk drawings my girls made last weekend on the dark pavement. Too bad the rain took care of them before I had a chance to take a pic.

Bird Song . . .

An eye-full of my (signature) toomuchery of a pattern. Sometimes, when you have too much 'crazy' inside - you just got to let some of it out.
